T
he archipelago is made up of 74 islands of various sizes along the coast of Queensland, Australia, some 550 miles [900 km] North of Brisbane. Five have resorts but most of them are inhabited.

Whisunday Island is a group center. It was named by Captain Cook by mistake. He thought he got it on Whitsunday, Pentecost. He was wrong.

The landscape seen above is a combination of colors: turquoise, aqua, indigo, green, yellow and white ... Protected by the sea by the Barrier Reef, hence the calm waters, ready to sail.

My dedication to Golden Plover began. It was a sunny morning. It was early in the morning but I could already feel the strong rays on my skin.

A few sailors helped me get into the boat, while the Captain was busy welcoming us each.

It was crowded. People of different ages and different countries. Most came from the USA and Canada, some from various European countries; there were a few Germans.

The adults wore bright summer hats and most of us wore sunscreen on our skin.

After safety instructions, we were shown the ship and its interior. We were all assigned to share the canoes or coats that we shared with our traveling companions. The plan was to tour the islands for a week, eat a boat or stop and have lunch and dinner on the beaches in our travel plan. In the evenings we sometimes had a choice ... to sleep on the beach or on a boat ...

I was over the moon ... You know my deep love for the sea and the sea ...

We finally left the port at Early Beach and started our journey.

The feeling of sailing in those blue seas with all the islands around us is indescribable.

We were given breakfast and that gave us a chance to break the ice and meet some of our traveling companions.

The days were good. At the beach, sailors prepared food and set up tables and chairs for us. It was nice to have a delicious fresh meal every day and a few glasses of cool wine, chatting happily with my new friends. We all got along well, we were great friends.

After helping, it didn’t take very long, I had, we had, our time.

We explored beaches, hiked where possible and most of all enjoyed the soft white sand and clear water.

I was incredibly black. I love sunburn, even now ... I will always ... The sun's rays on my skin rejuvenate me, give me strength, strength. Swimming and relaxing in clean water were refreshing and refreshing. The view around me was amazing.

I had a small purple bikini that fit snugly into my copper skin. On the shiny white sand, I really stood out.

The dinner was delicious, not only delicious food, but especially in the vast atmosphere. We were all sitting together at the tables talking, laughing, and having good conversations. Candles, moon and stars created the light we needed.

Someone who played the guitar all sang. The setting and ambience were perfect.

Sometimes we slept on the beach. We had sleeping bags. Older people prefer to rest in their homes. The sand was warm. The rough sun during the day kept it that way. The atmosphere was amazing.

What a feeling to wake up and compliment a breath-taking morning ...

Sometimes in the evening the anchor would be dropped off in the middle of the sea and we would all sleep on the boat, on our hillsides. It was fun to swim in the sea.

At night, I went up to the deck and lay there, with my back to the woods, staring at the stars and the moon, listening to the cool sea and the brigantine churning.

Some people jump into the sea to swim ... They are not afraid of sharks.

During the trip we visited other islands, probably the Molle Islands, Hamilton Island and Lindeman Island ... but the highlight of the trip was, without a doubt, our stay at Whitehaven Beach. I'll tell you about that sometime ...

I met some wonderful people during my trip to Golden Plover and enjoyed being their friend.
Traveling is not just about seeing things, it is about meeting people.
